I have so much to say about Swing Dancing and the scene that surrounds it because I’ve been a part of it for a long while. I understand that what actually qualifies me to blog about it is my ownership of a computer and an internet connection, but my experience has provided me so much fodder, food for thought, observations, opinions, and recolections.
I have been dancing Lindy Hop and Balboa since the fall of ‘98, inspired by the famous Gap “Khaki’s Swing” commercial. During the past 8 years of dancing I have traveled extensively to workshops, camps, exchanges, and other special events. Inspired by friends and experiences I developed a passion for Lindy Hop and Balboa and especially for organizing events.
